About this goal

ACFF & VFV: First aid on an around football fields

Both the ACFF and the VFV have undertaken actions around first aid on an around football fields:

  • The ACFF got almost 500 defibrillators for the clubs and provided them with first aid training in 4 sessions.
  • 51 clubs got a defibrillator by the VFV, that provided them with first aid training based on 4 pilars: medical research, defibrillators, CPR & reanimation and insurance

VFV : workshops in 200 clubs

Voetbalfederatie Vlaanderen, the Flemish stakeholder of the Royal Belgian FA, organised workshop in more than 200 clubs for more than 300 "technical youth responsibles".

ACFF: Training basic life support and AED's

During March 2014, 4 training sessions in basic life support and AED (defibrillators) were given throughout Walloon provinces (Hainaut, Liège, Luxembourg and Namur).
Nearly a hundred clubs participated in these sessions organized by the Department of Professional Training ACFF. The objective of this recycling is to train coaches to provide first aid and to be able to intervene in case of an incident.

VFV: 5th workshop - reform of youth competitions

The technical managers for young players (TMYP) play an essential role in the training of youngsters within the clubs. More than 300 TMYP took part in the fifth TMYP workshop. It was the opportunity for them to talk with their provincial coordinators about the content of the reform of youth competitions.

Evening classes : “Taxation tips for the football clubs”

The Flemish Football Federation (VFV) organised two evenings of training around taxation in December. Different topics were addressed: social legislation, the VAT liability and tax obligations for the clubs, legislation for club volunteers, etc.

Training digital match sheets

In the summer of 2013, several training sessions were organised for clubs and match officials in the different regions, to get acquainted with the new system for digital match sheets. Training sessions were also planned for the coaches, who are affected the first by the new digital matchsheets.

New promotion folder Women's Football

A new promotion folder  for Women's Football is available at the Flemish Football Federation (VFV). In that folder, many advices are given for the clubs who already have women's teams, but it also mention some incentives that may convince the clubs to focus on women's football. Besides, this folder has been created in collaboration with Niki De Cock, one of the Belgian Red Flames, the women's national team.
